3x+2=2(x+7)
3x+2=2x+14
3x-2x=14-2
x=12 Ans

solution:-
let the number be x
then According to question
3x+2 = 2(7+x)
=> 3x+2 = 14 +2x
=> 3x-2x = 14-2
=> x= 12 answer

hence the number required = 12 answer
