3x + 8 = 2x + 15
3x - 2x = 15 - 8
x = 7 .

let the no. be x
so, a/q
3x+8= 2x+15
or, x=7
hence the no. is 7.
Thanks.

pizza1o: its 3x+8 not 4
madhura7: how will 7 come
DSamrat: 3x+4=2x+15 as said in the question.. solving......so, 3x-2x=15-8,so, x=7
