Three times the complementary of an angle is 20 degree more than its supplementary. Find the angle.

Let the angle be x

Supplement of the angle = 180 - x

Complement of the angle = 90 - x

Given that ,

3 times the complement of the angle = 20° more than it's supplement.

So,

The following balanced equation will be formed

180 - x + 20 = 3(90 - x)

200 - x = 270 - 3x

-x + 3x = 270 - 200

2x = 70

x = 70/2 = 35

So,

the angle is 35°
