Let the three consecutive odd numbers be x, x+2, x+4.

ATQ

The smallest number is x and largest is x+4.

∴ 3x - 7 = 2 (x+4)

  3x - 7 = 2x + 8

  3x - 2x = 8+7

x=15

Hope it helped!
