hey mate what we have to do dear.

When a triangle has three congruent sides, we call the triangle an equilateral triangle. We mark the congruent sides by a slash mark. The angles in an equilateral triangle are always 60°. When a triangle has two congruent sides it is called an isosceles triangle.
The sum of the lengths of any two sides of a triangle is always greater than the length of the third side. The difference of the lengths of any two sides of a triangle is always smaller than the length of the third side. called the hypotenuse and the other two sides are called its legs or arms.

hope it helps u dear.

Given : Three triangles are marked out of a bigger triangle at the three vertices such that each side of each of the smaller triangles is one third as long as each corresponding

To find : The Ratio of Area  of Smaller Triangles taken together to the Ratio of area of bigger Triangle

Solution:

Let say Area  of Bigger Triangle =  A

Ratio of Area of Similar triangle = ( Ratio of Sides)²

=> (  Area of one Smaller triangle / A)  = ( 1/3)²

=>  Area of one Smaller triangle = A/9

Area of 3 Such Smaller triangles taken together = 3 (A/9)

= A/3

Area  of Smaller Triangles taken together = A/3

Area ogf Bigger Triangle = A

Ratio  = 1/3

Area  of Smaller Triangles taken together to the Ratio of area of bigger Triangle  = 1/3
