Three vertices of a rectangle ABCD areA(3,1),B(-3,1) andC(-3,3).Plot these points on a graph paper and find the coordinates of the fourth vertex D.Also,find the area of rectangle ABCD.

hey..

→ by looking at the graph we see that coordinates of D are (3,3)

→ DC = 6 units. [ in graph]

→ BC= 2 units.

→ therefore, area of rectangle = L X B

= 6 X 2 = 12 cm
