through a rectangular field of length 90m and breadth 60m,two roads are constructed which are parallel to the sides and cut each other at right angles through the centre of the fields.if the width of each road is 3m,find the area covered by the roads?

so the area covered by the roads is
1620 sq m

area of road parralel to length =90×3=270
now area of road parallel to breadth=60×3=180
total area will be=270+ 180-3*3( because they are intersecting and 3*3 is coming two times )
270+180-9
=441
