Take a container fill it with water
add salt to it and let it rest
after some you will see that salt has broken into amll particles and dissolved in the water
this shows that particles of matter are very small

Aim:to show that particles of matter are extremely small in size
Material Required:6 beakers, Dropper, Ink or any other liquid which is easily dissolvable in water
Procedure:
1. Pour water in every beaker.
2.pour 10 drops of ink in 1st beaker and stir it.
3.now take this water in a Dropper and put about 10 drops of it in 2nd beaker
4.stir water in 2nd beaker and again take about 10 drops of it in next beaker and continue to do the same with next remaining beakers.
Observation:
we observed that color of solution got lighter from 1st beaker to last beaker.
Conclusion:
From the above activity we can conclude that size of particles of matter are extremely small in size.
