Subject - Ignorance of needs and choice of children.
Sir,
Free mid-day meals are provided to poor children in government schools. The step was extremely necessary and is highly appreciated by the citizen of the country. Although still there are many things that government needs to pay heed to.
People send their children to school just for meals, and no one is interested in studies. Neither parents buy them books nor teachers are concerned about teaching.
Children either play or just roam around. Need of children about school uniform, stationery materials should also be provided by the government. Subject of their interest along with extra curricular activities is important need of children.
To shed light on this topic and draw the attention of authorities, I request you to kindly publish an article regarding the stated problem. I want that strict action can be taken.
Thank you,
Yours truly,
Sanya.
