through the 'kulhads' made of clay which is an eco friendly substance but there use had been discontinued in the train now a days give reasons?

kulhads were introduce d for serving tea in train , soon realised that the use of a lot clay for making millions kulhads daily led to the lose of fertile top soil from fields so, the practice of using has also been discontinued.
