Through the poem Bangle Sellers, Sarojini Naidu portrays the fact that Indian women give a lot of importance to ornaments, especially bangles. Indian women and girls wear bangles to express their joy and delight. They also represent the women’s desire for the well-being of their family.

Additionally, the poem highlights their role in an Indian society at the different stages of their life. Indian women take pride in caring for their children and bringing them up with love, as well as being loyal to their husbands and their families. Moreover, they consider their husbands as Gods.
