Since the options are not given, I am giving a general answer.

The Communist Party of India (CPI) was officially formed on 26 December in 1925. The first Party Conference was held in Kanpur in 1925 December. However, the British colonial authorities tried their best to ban the communist parties and their activities.

Three conspiracy trials were made by the Britishers against the communist movements. They were the Peshawar Conspiracy Case, the case of Meerut Conspiracy and the case of Kanpur Bolshevik Conspiracy.

Of three trials, the Kanpur (known as Cawnpore then) was the trial which had the most impact on the politics. About 8 - 9 communist leaders were charged for activities leading to separation of India from the British sovereign rule. The news about this
Kanpur Bolshevik Conspiracy case became popular throughout the country and people became aware of the communisms and aims of the communist parties of India.

In 1952, the communist party was banned at the
Travancore - Cochin Legislative Assembly elections and they could not participate in the elections.
