Yes there is still gradual clearing of forests areas in our country. This because of the rising population and increase in demand of the population regarding various resources. Though the process of getting resources through clearing of forests is helping the people in the urban areas it is at. The same time affecting the people who live in the forests(AKA. Tribes). There are various tribes that have been disturbed because of the clearing of forests. Ex. Clearing of forests in Orissa for industrialisation has affected many tribes.
