\bold{Answer:}

Thunderstorms usually occur in  hot and humid tropical area.

So ,option a is correct line.

Thunderstorms form from the equator to as far north as Alaska. They occur most commonly in the tropics where convectional heating of moist surface air occurs year round. In this region warm, humid tropical surface air from the Gulf of Mexico interacts with much colder and drier air masses moving down from Canada.

The high humidity, in conjunction with warm temperatures, creates massive amounts of warm, moist air rising into the atmosphere, where it can easily form a thunderstorm.  As the process of evaporation and condensation occurs, these droplets collide with other moisture that is condensing as it rises.
