on 51 th day Show ceases to be profitable

Step-by-step explanation:

ticket receipts at the show of a film amounted to Rupees 6500 on the first day

show drop of rupees 110 every succesive day

Hence a = 6500

           d = - 110

let say nth day  show ceases to be profitable

=> 6500 + (n-1)(-110)  ≤ 1000

=> 650 - 11(n-1) ≤ 100

=> 650 - 11n + 11 ≤ 100

=> 561 ≤ 11n

=> 51  ≤  n

on 51 th day Show ceases to be profitable
