Total outcomes = 100

Favourable outcomes = 7,14,21,28,35,42,49,56,63,70,77,84,91,98

= 14

P( a multiple of 7) = 14/100

= 7/50

  1. number cards are 1 to 100
  2. The multiples of 7 btw 1 to 100 are :-7,14,21,28,35,42,49,56,63,70,77,84,91,98and that's it
  3. so there are total 14 multiples
  4. so the probability =favourable outcome /total outcomes
  5. i . e. 14/100=7/50
