Scratching the tiger back is a very popular poem by KEKI N DARUWALLA.The
tiger being a wild animal is widely synonymous with strength, vigour an dits ferocity. It is a very fearful animal and humans get frightened by its appearance.
The poet rather says that the tiger will assure his well being and happy mood as he has being fed well.He will extend a hand of friendship towards human beings and will tell us that he is happy and also a creation of god like us. Here the tiger wants to describe the identity as the coexistence of good and bad evil.He says that he is as well created by god as human beings and both good and evil re size in him.
