TIGHER HAVE A SHORTER SMALL INTESTINE .WHY ??

tigers are carnivores. They eat only meat and flesh which can be digested in a comparatively shorter period. Hence the small intestine of tiger is shorter than that of a others small intestine.

tiger have a shorter intestine because they are carnivores and generally eats meat .
they don't require a large intestine because they don't need to digest cellulose as they already have a rich source of protein via meat
