till when does a patient need to be given glucose

Hello!

Glucose is given when its level is less in the blood.

Following are the reasons for less level of glucose in the blood :-

1) Blood Loss in an accident due to major injury. In this case patients doesn't have energy to be given solid food so given drips.

2) Became weak and doesn't have energy to digest it.
