It was during my second year at IIT Roorkee. I was the Event Manager at “Rap It Up”- a battle of raps among 12 professional rappers. It was the idea I had been working on as it was being organised for the first time at the institute and thus worked with one of my friend extremely hard to make it a success.After lot of efforts we were able to make all necessary arrangements, scheduling, inviting the rappers, judges. The biggest obstacle was to engage the audience in the event as the main events of Thomso-Cultural Fest at IIT Roorkee, were being organised simultaneously.
