The journal entries will be -

  • Office furniture A/c................Dr 2,000

To Purchase A/c. 2,000

  • Wages A/c................................Dr 200

Sundry Expense A/c...........Dr. 50

To cash A/c. 250

2. The firm does not deal in furniture

  • Timber A/c...............................Dr 2,000

To cash A/c. 2,000

  • Office furniture A/c................Dr 2,000

To Timber A/c. 2,000

  • Wages A/c................................Dr 200

Sundry Expense A/c...........Dr. 50

To cash A/c. 250
