Q. A certain number of labourers can complete levelling a road in 30 days. With 10 labourers less, the work was completed in 36 days. Find the original number of labourers.

4 hours x 12 days=48 total hours worked

48 hours x 10 men=480 man/hours

1 man/480 total hours=1/480th of the work done per man per hour

8 x 6 x 1/480=1/10 work done per day

1 work / 1/10 work done per day=10 days necessary to finish the work
