Given : George was on leave from 10may to 11 July

To find : the number of day George was on leave

Solution:

May has 31 days

June has 30 days

George was on leave from 10may

Hence 9 day in may already gone

Hence on leave in May = 31 - 9  = 22 days

Leave in june = 30 days

Leave in july = 11 Days

Total Leave days = 22 + 30 + 11 = 63

George was on leave for 63 Days

number of days Ritu spent with her grandmother

if she was with her from 15 August to 7 September.

31 - 14  + 7  = 24 Days
