Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

3(x - 2) < 1 where x ∈ { 1,2,3,4,5,6, }.

To find :

Solution set.

Solution :

3(x - 2) < 1

3x - 6 < 1

3x < 7 (add 6 on b.s)

x < 7/3 (div 3 on b.s)

x < \bold{2\frac{1}{3} }

∴ Solution set = {x : x < \bold{2\frac{1}{3} } , x ∈ A} where A =  { 1,2,3,4,5,6, }

∴ Solution set = { 1 , 2}
