TIME is a parallelogram , TE = 3.5cm and the length of TI is twice the length of TE . Draw an appropriate figure and the perimeter of parallelogram TIME .​

REFER TO ATTACHMENT

GIVEN:

  • TIME is a ||gm
  • TE=3.5cm

TO FIND:

  • Perimeter of || gm

SOLUTION:

If TI is twice of TE then the length of TI will be:-

3.5×2=7cm

Also opposite sides of ||gm are equal so :

  • TE=MI=3.5cm
  • TI=ME=7cm

Before finding Perimeter we should know meaning of perimeter.

PERIMETERSum of all sides of a figure is called its perimeter.

So perimeter of ||gm is:-

=>TI+IM+ME+TE

=>7cm+3.5cm+7cm+3.5cm

=>21cm

So perimeter of ||gm is 21 cm.
