Explanation:
Be a member of 5 AM club- Start your day early. I know some people are not really 'early risers' but being one has its advantages. When you wake up early you get extra time with minimum distractions. If you start your study in early hours of the day then you will have a sense of achievement. And this will fuel your further study cycles in that day.
Keep away the distractions- In the present time the biggest distraction is our mobile phone. Its no longer just a communication device. It has now become a phone, computer, portable TV, portable PlayStation, our friend, philosopher, guide, and what not. So in study time keep it away. You may check your notification as a reward after studying say for 3 hrs or so. Keep your cellphone on DND mode or just put it on flight mode.
Plan your study- Make a study plan and try to stick to it. But don't make a very tight plan, keep some scope for course correction. Make necessary changes in the plan according to your needs.
Eat healthy - Avoid junk food, eat healthy.Your mind needs glucose as a fuel, so u need to eat a balanced diet. Also you need to keep your body well hydrated. So drink plenty of water.
Study in cycles - We can't study continuously. We need break in between. So study in cycles. Study for 2 hrs then take 30 min break. Or you can study for 50 min and take 10 min break, repeat this cycle thrice and take half hr break. Prepare the plan as it suits you.
Change of work is rest- Don't study only one subject for whole day. It becomes boring to study only one subject. So rather make your study plans including more than one subject per day.
Make plans for revision - For keeping what we are reading in long term memory we need to revise it. So while preparing a study plan keep some time for revision
