Given- time taken by the sound wave to get reflected and then received by the receiver =3sec
therefore time taken by the sound wave to reach the reflecting =3/2 =1.5sec
Therefore from the above statement, time(u)=1.5 sec
speed of sound (v)=1500m/s
To find- distance ( wavelength)
Formula- v=wavelength/time
therefore 1500=wavelength/1.5
1500×1.5= wavelength
2250= wavelength
therefore wavelength= distance= 2250m
hence the depth of sea is 2250m
therefore time taken by the sound wave to reach the reflecting =3/2 =1.5sec
