Answer:

Distance = 10 km

Time = 12 min = 12/60 hr = 1/5 hr

Speed = Distance/Time

Speed = 10 / (1/5) = 50 km/hr

When the speed is decreased by 5 km/hr

Speed = 45 km/hr

Distance = 10 km

Time = Distance / Speed

Time = 10/45 = 2/9 hr = 120/9 min = 40/3 min
