9 parts + 11 parts = 20 parts altogether
Zn = 28.8 kg = 9/20 of Zn-Cu alloy
20/20 = 20 x 28.8/9 = 64 kg

P.S., it's "ratio" not "ration". See your dictionary

Answer : The weight of melted mixture is, 46.36 Kg

Solution :

First we have to calculate the mass of tin consumed.

The ratio of tin and zinc is, 9 : 11

The mass of zinc consumed = 25.5 Kg

Let the mass of tin consumed be, 'x'

Now equating the ratio with their respective masses.

\frac{9]{11}=\frac{x}{25.5Kg}

By solving the term x, we get

x = 20.86 Kg

Thus, the mass of tin consumed = 20.86 Kg

Now we have to calculate the weight of mixture.

The weight of mixture = 20.86 Kg + 25.5 Kg = 46.36 Kg

Therefore, the weight of melted mixture is, 46.36 Kg
