Breadth of box B = 2 m
Height of box H = 50 Cm = 0.5 m
total area = 2 (LB + BH + LH) - L * B
= 2 (9*2 + 2*0.5 + 9*0.5) - 9 * 2
= 2 (18 + 1 + 4.5) - 18
= 2 ( 23.5 ) - 18
= 47 - 18
= 29

= 2(9+2)0.5 + 9×2 = 2× 18 × 0.5 + 18 = 36m^2
