Tina avoid washing rice and pulses repeated before cooking. Why?

Rice and pulses are cops and these require huge amount of pesticides and fertilizers for protection and better growth. When it comes to our house it requires thougher wash because they have a coating layer of pesticides and fertilizers. When it is wash the water becomes powdery white in color at least 3-4 times so Tina avoids washing them repeatedly before cooking
