Let m.p be'100'

discount =4%

s.p formula =100-discount/100× m.p

= 100-4%/100×100

=96/100×100

=96/-

thus,s.p = 96

profit=20%

c.p formula= 100/100+profit×s.p

=100/100+20×96

=100/120×96

=80/-

when m.p=100 then c.p =80

when m.p=1 then c.p =80/100

when m.p = 680 c.p = 80/100×680

=544/-

therefore , c.p required = 544/'
