SOLUTION:-

lets assume the total number of 5 rupee coins be x

so 2 rupee coins are 3 times to that of 5 rupee coins 3x

hence,

2 rupee  coins = 3x × Rs.2

and

5 rupee coins = x × Rs.5

total of both the coins make ₹154

$(3x * 2)+(x*5)=154\\6x+5x=154\\11x=154\\x=\frac{154}{11}\\x=14$
