Solution :-

x + x - 5 = 43

2x - 5 = 43

2x = 43 + 5

2x = 48

x = $\dfrac{48}{2}$

x = 24


Present age of Tinku's brother = x = 24 years

Present age of Tinku = x - 5 = 24 - 5 = 19 years


Age of Tinku's brother after 2 years = 24 + 2 = 26 years

Age of Tinku after 2 years = 19 + 2 = 21 years

⇒ Tinku's Brother Age will be : T + 5
