You can use junk rat as a backup for your team and as defending... It can use its special which is very powerful when timed properly...

stay behind your tanks. if they are grouped up you can either go in there with one of your mines and use the other one to escape or just stay behind your tanks and keep shooting. sometimes i throw my mine in their team to get some ult charge. Rip tire keep on climbing on walls never go in a straight line. It is easier for them to destroy it if you go in a straight line. curve climb do anything so then they cant destroy it. Remember no one looks up.
