Plant Tissue:-

• The plant tissue is simply divided into meristematic tissue and permanent tissue.
• The meristematic tissues are immature, dividing tissue which performs the function of growth. It can be divided into apical meristem,  intercalary meristem and late meristem.
• The permanent tissue is further divided into simple permanent tissue and complex permanent tissue.
• The simple permanent tissue consists of parenchyma, collenchyma and sclerenchyma.
• The xylem and phloem are called complex permanent tissue.
