cost incurred by the titan to produce wrist Watch = Rs 800

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say Cost Price to titan  = C  rs

Titan sells  wrist watch to a wholesaler making a profit of 10%.

=> Selling price = C + (10/100)C = 1.1C  Rs

Cost Price for whole seller = 1.1C Rs

wholesaler sells it to the retailer making a profit of 10%

=> Selling price = 1.1C + (10/100)1.1C = 1.21C  Rs

Cost price for retailer  = 1.21C  Rs

profit of retailer is 2  3/11 %.  = 25/11  %

Selling Price = 1.21C  +  (25/1100)1.21C  = 1.2375C

customer purchases it by paying rs. 990

=> 1.2375C = 990

=> C = 800

cost incurred by the titan to produce wrist Watch = Rs 800
