GEETA PHOGAT BIOGRAPHY
Geeta phogat is an Indian Sports woman who plays the game of wrestling . She took part in the 55 kg freestyle category at the 2010 commonwealth games and won gold medal in that becoming the first ever Indian woman to win in that game.
Geeta was Born on 15th December 1988 in Balali village Bhiwani District of Haryana . Her father's name is Mahavir Singh and mother's name is Daya Kaur . She has four sisters and two brothers , Sangeeta , Ritu , Priyanka , Seema , Vinesh and Dushyant who are also in the game of wrestling .
Her father himself was a former Wrestler and is her coach in her younger days . He had to brave the severe criticisms from the villagers when his Teenage daughters practiced the game of wrestling .
