The title "a house is not a home" is a very justify title. A house is not a home brings an important idea. A house is a mere building made up of bricks, steel and concrete. If the inhabitants of a house are deprived of love affection and care on any accounts, they can never be happy. A house turns into a home when family member live in inner peace and harmony.

With the change in the school life of the author becomes miserable. He has no friends. He feels ill at ease. In divas stating fire his house is burnt down. What Nexus condition all the more miserable in the loss of a pet cat who has been very close to his heart. Luckily, people in the school shower love and affection on him. They provide him all the essentials. The author is not able to make some friends at his new school. After payment he is back in his newly built house. A human resource is lost cat to him. Now his friends also come to see him at home. Thus, love and affection which we get from his friend and his companion that makes in forget all his woes. His house turns into a home in the real sense of the term.
