Then  

• Age of Titu is ( x + 7 )

$\sf \implies ( x + 5 ) + ( x + 7 + 5 ) = 39$  

$\sf \implies ( x + 5 ) + ( x + 12 ) = 39$  

$\sf \implies 2x + 17 = 39$

$\sf \implies 2x = 39 - 17$

$\sf \implies 2x = 22$  

$\sf \implies x = \dfrac{22}{2}$

$\sf \implies x = 11$

$\sf \implies x + 7 = 18$

Therefore  

Age of Titu is 18 years and his brother is 11 years
