Amount of oxygen required in litres is - 5.6 litres.

According to given question, 2 moles of hydrogen react with 1 mole of oxygen.

At standard temperature and pressure, one mole of gas occupies 22.4 litres.

Thus, relating to question, 44.8 litres of hydrogen react with 22.4 litre of oxygen.

Now amount of oxygen required to react with 11.2 litres of hydrogen is -

(22.4/44.8) * 11.2

= 5.6 litres.

Hence, amount of oxygen required will be 5.6 litres.
