hey buddy here is your answer

as we know 10 pencils are red in box

and total pencils in box is = 30

so ratio of red pencils is =33.33

after adding the X number of pencils red pencils will be 25%

so if 25 % of pencils is = 10 ( bz red pencils numbers fixed )

1% of pencils will be = 10/25

100% of pencils will be = 10/25*100 = 40

so now we got total pencils 40

earlier we got total pencils were 30

so now added non red pencils are = 40-30= 10 pencils

hope it helps
