To all those genii out there, here's a question that I wanted to confirm the answer to...

A student took 5mL of lemon juice in each of the test tubes marked A, B & C. She adds 5mL of water in A and 20mL of water in B. She tested for pH value in all the three test tubes. She would find that pH value of liquid:

(a) In A, B and c is the same

(b) In A, it is more than in B or C

(c) In B, it is more than in A or C

(d) In C, it is more than in A or B

*please keep in mind that adding water dilutes the acid. In other words, the concentration of H^+ ions per unit volume decreases. Send the explanation as well please. The answer that I feel is the best will definitely be marked as the Brainliest.

Answer:

C has the most pH value as water wasn't added to it.
