✴ other angle = x/4
Since, they form linear pair... therefore their sum is equal to 180°
=> x + x/4 = 180°
=> 4x + x / 4 = 180°
=> 5x/4 = 180°
=> 5x = 180° × 4
=> x = 180° × 4/5
=> x = 144°
✴ first angle = x = 144°
✴ other angle = x/4 = 144°/4 = 36°
