• The electricity supplied to our house is of 220V and 50 Hz.
• All the appliances are connected in parallel in the household circuit.
• The switches are connected in series with the appliances.
• 5 A switches are used for bulbs and fans. (normal appliances)
• 15 A switched and cockets are used for  Refridgerator, geyser, AC. (heavy appliances)
