I'm here to give you the solution, but answer you have to get. See in this solution NaOH is a solution while water is a solvent. Molecular mass of NaOH is 40 gm/ mole.

Normality (N) = Mass of solute × 1000 Equivalent weight × Volume of solution

Equivalent weight = Molecular mass Acidity or Basicity

Acidity is of base which is equal to the number of OH- ions present.

Basicity is of acid which is equal to the number of H+ ions present.

Confirm your answer which is 0.4 gm NaOH.
