To check the learning outcome a science teacher ask his students which of the following is not a property of magnetic lines of force

directed from the north pole to south pole in the magnetic field

directed from the south pole to north pole inside a magnet

closed loops, never intersect

Answer:

Magnetic fields may be created with magnetic materials. A magnet has a North and a South Pole. A magnetic field flows from the North to the South Pole in the same way that electric fields flow from positive to negative charges. However, once cannot isolate magnetic poles as one can isolate electric charges.

The lines of magnetic field from a bar magnet form closed lines. By convention, the field direction is taken to be outward from the North pole and in to the South pole of the magnet.

The field lines starts (or diverges) from the positive charge and terminate (or converges) on negative charge. If the electric field lines form closed loop , these line must originate and terminate on the same charge which is not possible because electric field lines always moves from positive to negative.

At the poles of a magnet, for example, where the magnetic field is strong, the field lines are crowded together, or more dense. Farther away, where the magnetic field is weak, they fan out, becoming less dense. ... The direction of the flux is the direction in which the north-seeking pole of a small magnet points.

hope it helps you plz mark it as brainlist ✌️

The following is not a property of magnetic lines of force: The strength of field is less where the lines of forces are crowded

Magnetic field lines:

  • Magnetic field lines represent the magnetic field and magnetic field needs both magnitude and direction.
  • The arrows in the magnetic field line represent the direction of the magnetic field while the closeness or rarity of the field lines gives an indication of its magnitude.

Properties of magnetic field line:

  • The direction of the magnetic field line is taken as the direction in which the north pole of the magnetic needle moves. Thus, this direction is from the north pole to the south pole.
  • While inside the magnet, the direction of magnetic field lines is from the south pole to the north pole.
  • Thus, a closed loop of magnetic field lines is formed.
  • However, the closed loops never intersect each other. Because the point of intersection will represent that the magnetic needle will point in two directions at that point. This is not possible,
  • More crowded lines mean the strength of the field is more, and not less.
