To create awareness on "Safe Drive" campaign, Priya and her group decided to place 6 signs along a stretch of 3.25 km road. The signs were designed to avoid using mobile phones while driving and were to be placed equal distance from each other. How much distance should be there between each sign?

if the total distance = 3.25 km = 3250m

let us divide this total distance in to five parts

so, distance of each part = 3250/5 = 650 m

so answer is 650 m

total distance=3250m

since there are 6 signs to be placed this means that 5 divisions are required

3250/5=650m

therefore each sign should have a distance of 650m.

and nice meeting u again buddy ...hope u remember me..
