To cure a bee sting baking soda can be used. What does this indicate about the nature of the bee sting? Why does it get cured by using baking soda?

as we know that the baking soda is a base and the bee sting is acid.....if the base and acid mix it gets neutral and in result no pain and burn

In The Bee sting there is a form of acid which is known as formic acid it is cured by baking soda because formic acid react with baking soda and we know that when base and acid react both get neutralise
