Materials required: hydrilla twins, beaker, test tube, funnel, and some amount of water.

Procedure:

Play some water plant like hydrilla twins in a short steamed funnel and keep it in a beaker .

Then put the water in the beaker.

Invert the test tube funnel of water over the stem of the funnel.ensure that the level of water in the beaker is above the level of the stem of the inverted funnel.

And place the apparatus under the sunlight.

And observe it after 2_3 hours.

Observation:

We can observe that, some air bubbles are produced in the water.

And slowly remove the test tube by closing it with our thumb finger.and slowly open your finger by placing a glowing matchstick near to the test tube.

Now here we can observe a vigorous and brightly glowing matchstick.
